For those unfamiliar with you, can you tell us a bit about your background and how you got involved in the fitness industry?
I originally got into the industry because of my strong passion for food and nutrition, and I had the desire to transform my own physique. I’ve been running my own personal training and online coaching business for nearly six years now, I’m a group fitness instructor, and I’m FRC certified. My competition resume is much shorter as I did my first show in November 2014, where I placed 3rd in Open Figure in my class, and I will be competing for the second time this summer at the BCABBA Provincials, July 9.
What’s the one thing you look forward to treating yourself to after a competition?
The Gold Rush pancakes from Jethro’s Fine Grub with a side of bacon, or a double side; I’m an adult! (Laughs) If you haven’t been, you really must go.
How did you become involved with Magnum Nutraceuticals? And what do you love most about the company?
I’ve been a big fan of Magnum for years. Rocket Science was my gateway supplement with the brand, as it was unlike any other pre workout I had ever used before! I also had been using Quattro protein powder because it’s the only one on the market that didn’t bother my stomach, and it still managed to be delicious. So I had already been using several Magnum products prior to connecting with Markus Kaulius on Facebook, and we eventually discussed an athlete sponsorship. As far as what I love about the company, I’d be very hard pressed to tell you anything that I don’t love about Magnum! I could go on and on about the quality of Magnum’s products, the genius formulas and stacking abilities, but if you know Magnum and use their products, then you already know what I’m talking about! One of the things I really love about Magnum is the people behind the brand. Markus Kaulius is truly one of the most inspiring human beings I have ever known. He is businessman, a leader, a friend and a real family man. He lives his life with such integrity and genuineness that it would be impossible for Magnum not to come from the same place.
Magnum is all about authenticity, the products and the people! We’re not a bunch of giant muscle-bound bodybuilders endorsing some poorly manufactured product just to get our names in a magazine. We’re real people, getting real results, and we believe in our brand!
What Magnum products are you currently using?
Oh gosh, it would be easier to list the ones I’m not taking! (Laughs) I’ll list my specific stacks first, and then list the products I take outside of these stacks
Teralee’s Magnum Stack
Pre Workout Stack
- Carne Diem
- Limitless or Rocket Science
- Heat Accelerated
Intra Workout Stack

- After Burner
I also take Acid, especially since I’m cutting right now, Quattro, and I drink Hi5 throughout the day. I also use Mimic with my cheat meals; it’s a must!
What does your current training look like?
My training program changes all the time, and is fairly high volume. I hit legs nearly every day, but here’s what my training program looks like at the moment. I train abs and calves roughly three times a week, and I’m doing morning cardio four times a week. I’m also a bit of a masochist and love uphill sprints! (Laughs)

What is your secret for your incredible arm and shoulder development?
(Laughs) Well first of all, thank you for the compliment! Surprisingly, I don’t actually do much for my arms. A couple exercises a week for both triceps and biceps, and that’s usually it. But my shoulders are an entirely different story! A big criteria for Figure competitors is having ‘big’, rounded delts, so they are often a huge focus for my workout week. Generally, I will have one big shoulder day earlier in the week and then hit my shoulders a couple more times later in the week. I do lots of volume, and focus on my technique rather than ‘chasing’ the weight.
What does your current diet look like?
I’m currently 12 weeks out from BCABBA Provincials, so I’m currently dieting, as well as carb cycling, but an average day looks something like this:
- Meal 1: 2 Whole Eggs, 2 ounces Egg Whites, and 2 slices Toast or 1/3 cup Oats (Dry Measure)
- Intra Workout: 1 scoop Carb Powder (25g Carbs)
- Meal 2 (Post Workout): 4 ounces Salmon Sashimi, 1 cup Steamed Rice and Vegetables
- Meal 3: 4 ounces BBQ Chicken, large Green Salad and 1 tablespoon Oil Dressing (Homemade)
- Meal 4: 4 ounces Turkey Sausage, 4 ounces Sweet Potato, Vegetables and Spices and Hot Sauce
- Meal 5: (Pumpkin Cheesecake Protein Waffles) 1 scoop Magnum Quattro Vanilla Protein Powder, Pumpkin Puree, and Cream Cheese
The cream cheese is made with an extract or emulsion to give the waffles a ‘cheesecake’ scent and flavor without the added calories; it’s so good!
What’s the one food you couldn’t live without? And how do you handle cravings?
Chocolate! I fit it into my macros when I can if I really feel the need. Otherwise, I’ll use Magnum’s chocolate protein powder to create some pretty amazing protein rich treats!
What’s your favorite flavor of protein powder?
I’m all about the Vanilla; it’s so creamy and versatile.
Tell us about the tattoo on your arm, and any plans for more?
It’s kind of hilarious, but I had a small star tattooed on my inner wrist that I wanted to cover with something more interesting and unique. Somehow that turned into nearly a half sleeve! (Laughs) My forearm tattoos are two of six total tattoos I have, and the most recent ones, but the other four are just evidence of being a rebellious teenager. No plans for more tattoos!
What are your hobbies and interests outside of the fitness industry?
Food! I know that sounds fairly typical; everyone loves food, but it’s actually a huge passion of mine. Anyone that knows me really well knows I actually love cooking more than I love fitness! (Laughs) I love growing my own food, creating recipes and cooking for other people. It’s enjoyable, it’s a science, an art form, and it’s a way I express my love and give back to the people around me. I’m also really into reading, writing, cycling, climbing, and hoping my laundry will learn to fold itself; fingers crossed! (Laughs)
