For those unfamiliar with you, can you tell us a bit about your background and how you got involved in the fitness industry?
Growing up I was always athletic and involved in sports. In high school, I was a very competitive cheerleader and that’s when I started training in the gym. During my university years, I started working with a trainer and became hooked when I started seeing results!
I decided to compete in my first show, and I started working on my personal training certification.
What were your biggest challenges when you first started training?
My biggest challenge was definitely dieting! I was young, and I also cared about my ‘social life’. But in the back of my mind, I knew how bad I wanted to compete and accomplish my goals.
Tell us a little about your recent full time teaching position.
I just graduated last year with my Education degree, and this year landed a high school Phys Ed position! I am truly blessed!
What’s the one thing you look forward to treating yourself to after a competition?
Chocolate for sure; it’s my weakness! (Laughs)
How did you become involved with Magnum Nutraceuticals? And what do you love most about the company?
I became involved with Magnum in 2014. I competed 4 times that year, taking home two first place trophies and earning my Pro card with the WBFF. I always loved Magnum products and when the opportunity arose to become a sponsored athlete I was over the moon! I am the only Magnum athlete in my area, so I always feel honored to represent such an amazing company and introduce it to others!
What I love most about Magnum is the Magnum family! Everyone is so supportive of each other.

What are your favorite exercises for arms and why? And do you have any tips for training arms?
Concentration curls are my favorite arm exercise. Arms can be tricky to train, but you just need to get creative. Also, Magnum’s Volume is a MUST on arm day because the pump is crazy!
What is your secret for muscular calves?
It’s funny you ask, I’ve always had muscular calves and was insecure about them growing up. Once I started training and people would complement my calves, I began to love them. I love doing seated calf raises and using the leg press for a good burn!
What does your current diet look like?
My daily meals consist of healthy fats, lean protein, carbs, fruits and lots of vegetables. I eat a wide variety of foods and always try to switch it up, so I don’t get bored.
Charlotte’s Typical Diet
- Meal 1: ½ cup Oatmeal, ½ cup Egg Whites, 1 Whole Egg and ½ Grapefruit
- Meal 2: Quest Protein Bar and ½ Avocado or Hummus and Vegetables

Do you have any special beauty tips you’d like to share?
Use coconut oil on everything!
What do you do to relax when you’re not working out?
Relaxing for me is rare, but when I do have some spare time, I enjoy spending it with my fiancé and being social with my friends.
