Pop-Tarts have the perfect ratio of high carbs with minimal amount of fat. If you eat two Pop-tarts you will be consuming 400 calories, 10 grams of fat, 3.0 grams of saturated fat, 0 trans fat, 76 grams of carbohydrates, 34 grams of sugar, and 4 grams of protein.

Pop-Tarts could be used for either pre or post workout. Personally, I would opt for post workout; they will spike your insulin levels quickly, and this is exactly what you want post workout.

I wouldn’t consider them a breakfast food for bodybuilders. I would stick with a clean breakfast and consume the Pop-Tarts for a quick post workout meal. After training the Pop-tarts will be far better utilized and less likely to store as fat.

10. Are Pop-Tarts okay to eat after a stroke?

In one word, no!
