When I first got into lifting, my friend gave me an old beat up pair of her cloth lifting straps. I had a hard time using the cloth ones. They were confusing and frustrating to use. I did a little research and finally broke down and bought a pair of Versa Gripps. Since I was new to lifting, I chose the fit series.

Pros

The Versa Gripps Fit 525 Series is easy to use. The Fit Series was designed for women, so they are smaller. They stay snug on my wrists and allow me to pull with ease. I can attest to the fact that they are sturdy and have been a good investment. I have been dragging them around for 3 years.

Cons

There is a very small tag in the right strap that says ‘right.’ It is a little tricky to figure out the left one from the right one. Or maybe that is just me? Either way I took some nail polish to mark the right one. I just slip them on my wrists and go.

If you stick with lifting, you will most likely want to upgrade to the next level. The Pro and the Classic have a wider gripping portion and wrist strap.

Rating

Overall I give this product a 5/5.

They were a little pricey, but have been extremely durable. I would highly recommend them if you are just getting started training. Good quality, good product.

In the future I plan on upgrading to the Pro Series.
